Senior Data Migration Specialist

Our client, a large multinational within the food and beverages industry, is seeking a Data Migration Specialist to join their team in Greece for a critical data migration project. This role requires a very technical data specialist who can understand and manipulate data tables, ideally within an SAP S4 Hana environment. The ideal candidate will compare data across different systems to ensure accurate migration and integration.

Key responsibilities:

• Execute data migration from system 1 to system 2, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Analyze and manipulate data tables, utilizing business intelligence tools and methodologies.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between data in existing and target systems.
• Work closely with the organization's commerce teams to understand and fulfill data migration requirements related to organizational setup.
• Provide technical expertise in data handling, especially within SAP environments, to ensure a seamless migration process.

What we require:

• Proven expertise in data migration projects, with a strong background in handling complex data tables and business intelligence.
• Technical proficiency with SAP, particularly S4 Hana, although this is desirable rather than essential.
• No requirement for project management skills; focus purely on technical data migration capabilities.
• Experience in setting up organizational and commerce structures through data-driven insights.
• Professional fluency in English (& Greek would be nice to have), capable of working effectively in a multilingual setting.

The project is located in Athens, Greece for a 4-6 month opportunity. Travel to the office in Greece 4 days out of each month would be the minimum requirement with the remaining working days being remote. Alternatively, for a local candidate, this would be 4 days per week on-site.
