Senior SAP Release Lead Spain

Our client is a leading organisation within the FMCG industry dedicated to leveraging the power of SAP S4 HANA to drive business transformation and innovation. As the company embarks on critical projects to migrate to SAP S4 HANA, we are seeking a skilled Cut-Over / Release Coordinator to ensure smooth and successful transitions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the digital transformation journey.

As an SAP S4 HANA Cut-Over Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the cut-over activities associated with migrating to SAP S4 HANA. You will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and external partners to minimize downtime and disruptions during the transition phase. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP systems and extensive experience in managing cut-over activities for large-scale projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive cut-over plan for migrating to SAP S4 HANA, including timelines, tasks, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with the cutover process.
• Coordinate with functional teams to ensure readiness for the transition, including data migration, testing, and training.
• Communicate cut-over plans, milestones, and updates to stakeholders and key decision-makers.
• Establish clear escalation procedures and mechanisms to address issues and challenges during the cutover period.
• Conduct rehearsals and mock cut-over exercises to validate the effectiveness of the plan and identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor and track cut-over activities in real-time, providing status updates and resolving issues as they arise.
• Document lessons learned and best practices to inform future cut-over activities and improve overall project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP implementation projects, with a focus on cut-over coordination.
• Strong understanding of SAP S4 HANA and its architecture, including knowledge of key modules and functionalities.
• Proven track record of successfully coordinating cut-over activities for large-scale projects, preferably within the SAP ecosystem.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving project objectives.
• Certification in SAP S4 HANA or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
