Job description

The primary purpose of the Manager of the European Transformation Management Office is to proactively drive organizational change and improvement initiatives. This role is pivotal in achieving strategic objectives and ensuring sustainable business success for the Business Unit (BU).

Operating Environment

Reporting directly to the Director of the Regional Transformation Management Office, you will interact with a diverse network of stakeholders across Europe. This includes regional leadership teams, global functional heads, country Managing Directors, project managers, and program directors. Additionally, you will engage with external suppliers and consultancy firms.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Execute transformation strategies and plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Establish and enforce project governance frameworks.
  • Manage escalations effectively.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments and regions to ensure alignment and support for transformation objectives.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project teams.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Change Management

  • Ensure the successful adoption and implementation of transformation initiatives.
  • Identify stakeholders, assess change readiness, and develop strategies to mitigate resistance and foster buy-in.

Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor project performance and progress against key performance indicators and milestones.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure deliverables meet or exceed organizational standards and internal customer expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.

Profile of candidate

Education, Qualifications, and Training:

  • University Degree.
  • A seasoned, multi-faceted T-shaped profile with deep expertise in at least one functional domain (Finance, Commerce, Supply Chain, Manufacturing) and sufficient understanding of other domains.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years of consulting experience.
  • Experience in an international environment.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Expertise in project management.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Understanding of various methodologies.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Rigor and discipline.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
